Forth in Your Name, O Lord, I Go

This SAB choir piece was written for my sister's graduating class at St. Croix Lutheran Academy class of 1998. The common Wesley text is known to many as a popular text for confirmation or graduation / baccalaureate services. The music for this setting is completely different than the traditional hymn. It was intended for amateur or student choirs. It is ideal for smaller churches or choirs looking for a quick learn.
This was one of my first settings of oolder hymn texts to contemporary music. One of these days I will type the chords in to the music. I would expect this to be sung most often with piano accompaniment, so it remains a back-burner task. Please don't judge to harshly, I was 23 when I wrote it. I hope you enjoy it.
Send me note or let me know if you perform it. I'd love to hear from you.
