With Broken Heart - A Confession of Sins
This hymn by Cornelius Elven is a well known text that can serve as a confession of sins in a worship service. I added a refrain from the traditional Kyrie text and set it all to new music. The style would work with just piano accompaniment or with a praise band. I realize all five verses might be much for the liturgical placement. I would recommend at least three verses in keeping with a Kyrie form.
Let me know if you'd like a different key. Although it has a high D, it drops down to a Bb. Perhaps A would work. Alternatively, I can put together a Capo 1 in A for a guitar upon request. Let me know--I'm happy to do so.
